A fast, easy snack alternative compared to the huge chain Don Don Donki! 👍🏻
I know food and snacks aren't the first thing that comes to mind when people talk about Japan Home.
But I find JH easy to navigate, especially if you want to quickly find Japanese snacks, compared to the "chaotic and huge" DDDK!
They have loads of snacks here at JH Westgate (including my personal favorite Japanese konjac jelly, top-favorite Calbee cereal, and even local/Korean goodies!).
They also offer ongoing food and snack promotions! Stay tuned, as different outlets have different promotions.

I would like to highlight a concern regarding my recent visit to your store at 12 pm. While purchasing drinks, I was carrying several bottles of water in my hands. One of your staff members walked past me, brushed against me slightly, and …

This outlet is awesome. Layout is sensible. Stock and merchandising (display) are great. Most importantly, the cashier is engaging and proactive in promoting specials. Despite her limitations, she makes an effort to put customers first.
Location could be better. The basement is not where people go browsing, as they tend to go there for food after shopping.

I had a very disappointing experience at Japan Home Wastage. I paid for my items using PayNow, and the transaction was successful on my phone — the amount was already deducted from my account. However, the cashier did not wait for the receipt to come out and immediately grabbed the items, leading to an error.
I calmly told her that I had already paid, but she insisted that I did not. She was angry and refused to listen. I stayed silent and waited for several minutes, hoping the money would return to my account. After around 10 minutes, I offered to pay again, but she could not understand my English, despite my speaking fluently. Instead of trying to understand, she became even more aggressive, shouting and saying bad things about me.
She called her colleague, and I explained everything again, but she kept interrupting and blaming me for the error. I showed them the screenshot of my payment, but she continued insisting that I never paid. The way I was treated was very disrespectful.
As a foreigner, it was really disappointing to experience such poor customer service. The staff were impolite, unreasonable, and showed no respect. People working in malls should be trained to treat all customers — locals or foreigners — with professionalism and courtesy. The old lady with the short hair though!!

Had the worst shopping experience ever here. The outlet was posting misleading advertisements for a 12% discount on spending $18 and above, while claiming that food items only qualified for 5%.
Upon finding out after purchase, I approached the cashier and store staff but was treated rudely. I was told to complain to their service team if I was not happy.
Though it's a small amount at stake, I didn't really like the marketing practices and the retail staff's 'heck care' attitude. I asked a lawyer friend about this and was told that the advertisement was misleading and I should report this directly to CASE, as it's likely not the first time they have done this.
If I do not get any response within 3 days, this will go to CASE.
