Tasty Chettinad food in the West!
Here's a short list of the items we had:
- Tandoori Chicken: Smoky and well-marinated. Came with a chutney that could be mintier, but the chicken was flavourful enough nonetheless.
- Gobi 65: This was actually gobsmacking yummy. Crispy, not oily, soft and tender cauliflower on the inside. Do yourself a favour and order this.
- Fish Biryani: Came with generous chunks of fish. The biryani itself was flavourful.
- Kadai Chicken: Spicy and creamy. The sauce split a little, but that's fine. Pairs well with the biryani and naan.
- Filter coffee: An absolute must-order!
The only con is that it's a little expensive. Otherwise, I would come again more frequently.
There are also handwashing basins for those who want to eat with their hands (as one should).

A good restaurant overall. We are European, so we are not very spice tolerant. The spice was fine. It was spicy but not too spicy. The staff were nice, and the ambience felt good. I liked that they were playing Indian music. Once again, good.

**May 2025 Review**
* Special Anjappar Chicken: Not to our liking.
* Curry Fish Head: The ladyfingers were very old.
**Year 2024 Review**
We weren't very adventurous and ordered a few familiar dishes:
* Chicken 65
* Chicken Lollipop
* Butter & Cheese Naan
* Cheese Masala
The family enjoyed the food and finished everything.

I ordered the fried fish meal, and when it arrived, I was totally surprised by how thinly the fish was sliced—it takes the skills of a sushi master to slice it that thin. The set consisted mostly of different gravies, 1 piece of chapati, 1 piece of papad, vegetables, and the thinnest slice of fish I have ever eaten in my life. For a price of $21, this was really disappointing.

I recently dined at this Indian restaurant and was disappointed with the Mutton Biryani. The portion of mutton was extremely small—just two tiny, bony pieces—which did not justify the $16 price tag. The price felt excessive, especially given the lack of substantial meat in the dish.
When I asked the waiter if this was really the standard portion of mutton, he simply said "yes" and walked away without any further explanation or concern. This lack of customer service added to the overall disappointment.
On a positive note, the ambiance was decent, offering an authentic Indian restaurant feel. However, the portion sizes and service definitely need improvement to match the cost and provide better value for customers.
