This outlet has the worst customer service. There were only two staff members: one making specs, and the other was occupied with a customer for a long time. I walked in, intending to order two pairs of specs. It was supposed to be a quick decision – a simple process of picking, trying, and ordering. However, no one was available on the shop floor to take my order.
At the other outlets I visited (Waterway and Nex), even if staff were busy with customers, they would still acknowledge incoming customers, whether they were buying or not. They would definitely approach and inform them, letting them know they would be attended to as soon as possible.
In a customer-facing context, it is basic to acknowledge any customer entering your store. Moreover, this is particularly important for a serious buyer who has been browsing for more than five minutes.
