Located at Westgate basement food court. Ample seating and friendly staff. However, I felt the food was quite underwhelming despite the crowd.

We got Assam pedas fish from the Hajah Maimunah stall. The ikan pari was not fresh at all! And we had bought 3 pieces for takeaway! The flesh of the fish was greyish-brown. It was only a little after 10 AM when we bought the dish. We regretted buying it. We ended up eating plain rice with gravy only! If we were there, we would have returned the dish! Hajah Maimunah owners, you really need more QC on the fish that you buy and not pass them off as edible.

We chanced upon this when we came into the food junction, looking for a table to relax after a few hours of standing, and decided to share a plate at 3 PM. The queue was pretty constant, even during off-peak hours (as can be seen in the photos), and rightly so, given that the food was great! Having tried their dishes from their main outlet, we were excited to see if this matches up, and it did 👍🏻 🐠 The fish set costs $8.50, which is definitely pricey for a food court, but it was a generous serving and very fresh — definitely something we will always opt for in the future. 🌶️ The chilli was good; we would have taken more if we knew it was this good. Begedil and eggs were average; we've tried better ones out there. Definitely a good addition to the food junction, looking forward to having this again!

I really enjoyed the fish set today! The fish was nicely cooked, and the gravy was fantastic. I was quite pleased that they gave me extra gravy for the rice, but I wasn't given any okra with the fish. It would be nice if they could include one okra. The service was quick as I was early and the queue wasn't long. Halfway through my food, the crowd started coming in and the queue built up quickly. I was tempted to get the kuih kuih, but I was too full.
