**(Review for vegetarians)** I tried the tomato, egg, and cheese sandwich. The bread was perfectly toasted. The set menu includes a drink and a side; I got a tea and a hash brown, which was crispy and delicious. I think this shop is better than Toast Box and Ya Kun Kaya Toast, both of which vary wildly in consistency. Oftentimes, at Toast Box (Westgate), the breads are hardly toasted. Fong Sheng Hao is slightly pricier, but I'd say their perfectly toasted bread alone makes up for it. The only negatives I have to say are that they make people queue up at the entrance to get a table, but it's not clear if customers are supposed to seat themselves or wait for staff to show them in. Customers seem to do as they please. Another downside is that the air conditioning barely works at this Westgate branch, and it was sweltering inside; I was sweating a lot. EDIT: Ate here twice more and tried the peanut toast (I didn't like), chocolate drink (good), soya milk (good), the Taiwanese pancake with egg and cheese (very good), the Egg Cheese scallion pancake (very good), the kaya butter toast (so-so), and the milky butter toast (so-so). The hash brown cheese sandwich was expectedly good. It was a perfect mix of tastes and sensations - sweet and salty, cold and hot, and crispy and soft. It was one of the best sandwiches I've had.
