We stopped by Fong Sheng Hao at Westgate for dinner on a weekday. There was no queue, so I got my food quickly. I tried their braised pork rice and toast. The braised pork rice was decent. The toast was crispy and well-prepared. Overall, it was a decent dining experience—quick service and decent food

The cheese slice is too thin and cannot taste it. The pork meat slice and bread have slight sweetness. The coffee is nice and not too strong

Ordered the condensed toast, coffee and the ham egg roll. Be prepared that the staff will ask you to change seat halfway when crowded if you are in a smaller group as it was a small store with limited seatings.
Worst morning food I’d ever eaten. Service of the staffs were very bad. One of the staff never even ask whether can she clear the plate, and she just clear it away. Won’t even recommend!

I came to visit every week, the food is nice and reasonable price. The signature Braised pork Rice gravy just nice for kids and not so salty. My son love it, and the soy milk. My favourite are egg ham omelette with cheese and spicy chicken cutlet with bread.

I tried the tomato, egg, and cheese sandwich. The bread was perfectly toasted. The set menu includes a drink and a side; I got a tea and a hash brown, which was crispy and delicious.
I think this shop is better than Toast Box and Ya Kun Kaya Toast, both of which vary wildly in consistency. Oftentimes, at Toast Box (Westgate), the breads are hardly toasted. Fong Sheng Hao is slightly pricier, but I'd say their perfectly toasted bread alone makes up for it.
The only negatives I have to say are that they make people queue up at the entrance to get a table but it's not clear if we're supposed to get a table on our own or wait for the staff to show us in; customers seem to do as they please.
Another downside is that the aircon barely works at this Westgate branch, and it was sweltering inside; I was sweating a lot.
EDIT: Ate here twice more and tried the peanut toast (I didn't like), chocolate drink (good), soya milk (good), the Taiwanese pancake with egg and cheese (very good), the Egg Cheese scallion pancake (very good), the kaya butter toast (so so), and the milky butter toast (so so).
The hash brown cheese sandwich was expectedly good
It was a perfect mix of tastes and sensations - sweet and salty, cold and hot, and crispy and soft. It was one of the best sandwiches I've had.
