Atrocious customer service and behavior of staff from Unionware Pte Ltd at Westgate #03-K1. I would advise all consumers to avoid patronizing this kiosk at Unionware Pte Ltd at Westgate #03-K1 (beside StarHub). On 26th Nov 2022 at 6.58pm, I bought a $15 mobile screen protector from Unionware Pte Ltd at Westgate #03-K1, near to StarHub. A man (I presume is from China because of his accent) served me and pasted the screen protector on my mobile phone immediately. The mobile screen protector looked fine on my mobile phone, so I left the kiosk.
About an hour later at around 8pm, I discovered cracks appearing on the mobile screen protector. And because I didn't knock or drop the mobile phone, I returned to the kiosk to enquire about the cracks. The same staff who served me earlier started to get very defensive and hurl insults at me. He insisted that I had knocked my mobile phone which led to the cracks. When I tried to reason with him that I didn't knock or drop my mobile phone and it might be due to product defects, he started to get more agitated and accused me of lying. His exact words were if I was to admit to knocking on my mobile phone, he will replace for me. He kept questioning my ethics and integrity. Furthermore, he dared me to sue him and asked me to go ahead to post on social media about his terrible behavior. I was extremely furious but decided not to waste time arguing with him anymore and left the shop. Before I left, he even has the atrocity to call me uneducated.
What was meant to be a happy shopping experience had became a nightmare for me. My thought was if the staff was unable to make a replacement, he could have explained nicely instead of hurling insults, accusing and trying to make me admit to things I have never done. $15 is not a lot of money but to receive such terrible customer service and accusations from this person has certainly left a nasty taste in my mouth.
In my opinion, this low calibre tenant of Westgate has tarnished the reputation of Westgate.

Bad service. My aunt bought a screen protector from this shop and the staff changed it on the spot for her. After awhile, the screen protector cracked without any reason ( didn’t drop the phone at all). Went back to the shop to enquire about this and the staff said that my aunt was lying and his tone was disappointingly rude. We tried explaining nicely there was no impact at all and it might be due to a defect. He replied that we can sue him and he insisted that she was lying. He asked us to by all means complain him and share with the world. so here I am sharing this bad experience. He also called my aunt crazy. Is this what customer service is about now? If it is then wah what has the world become?!
