Tried their husband cake and wife cake, both are very yummy. Prices are very affordable and comparable to neighborhood bakeries.

I love their egg yolk mooncake. It was recommended by sweetheart. I chill it. It's so yummy I slice it thinly and eat non-stop, morning and night. (I have eaten other brand mooncakes before, but...)

Nice traditional storefront decor. I decided to buy some pastries to try, but they weren't to my taste. I bought the sweet tau sar piah, but the skin was too thick and dry, and the filling was rather bland, so I wasn't a fan of it. I thought the walnut cookie would be fine. It was slightly fragrant, but the dough tasted too starchy, so it wasn't good. The items were pricey, as much better tasting pastries can be found at cheaper prices elsewhere. The sachima was to my liking. Though pricey at $6.80 for a small pack, it was good, so I found it okay and worth it.

Alight at the Red/Green Line Jurong East MRT Interchange and walk over to Westgate. This traditional store is quite hard to locate, but it is located at Basement 2. This part of B2 has an alley of food stalls and Eccellente by Hao Mart. 大中国 is on the left side. It is a bakery that offers traditional handmade pastries, and its selection of handmade mooncakes is a taste of nostalgia. The staff at this outlet are friendly and cheerful, who will kindly explain the different flavors you inquire about. They also offer the most traditional mooncake, which they claimed should have seafood flavors. I had to try it. I would highly recommend visiting if you're not looking for fanciful marketing or plain gimmicks, but for a good old nostalgic taste. There is a current promotion for OCBC cardholders to enjoy 10% off purchases.

As you come down from the mall's escalator, the outlet is located on the left. I've enjoyed their pastries since childhood, and have bought them a few times now for my own kids. Most are sweet pastries. I recently bought the 'piglet in basket,' 'green bean cake (lu dou gao 绿豆糕),' and 'Cloud cake (云片糕).' I visited late in the evening and was served by a friendly, petite aunty. They are famous for their Chinese New Year Nian Gao. They accept Cash, credit cards, and GrabPay.
