I like the atmosphere and the personal pot. It's a good place to sit and relax. The price point is definitely lower than the other hotpots. The ingredients, cooked food, and sauce aren't that tasty, though.

My three visits were all during tea time.
Mushroom soup was quite normal.
I tried the century egg soup twice: the first time very flavourful, the second time less so.
The limited edition sour vegetable soup was quite flavourful.
Prawns: very fresh on the first visit, not so fresh on the second, and fresh on the third.
Fried fish skin was not available on the first two visits, but was available on the third visit and was quite nice.
I love the green bean soup dessert here.
The fried prawn roll was yummy, too.
Condiments have changed recently; there are fewer varieties now.
The pickled radish was so yummy and refreshing, especially in a buffet.
On the first two visits, there were many diners, and the fried food was fresh and hot.
On the third visit, there were not many diners, and the fried food was cold and not crunchy.

This is my first and last time. Nothing spectacular at all. It was overhyped. The food was just mediocre, and the service was slow and rude. They were definitely understaffed. The individual pots were served only after one round of hot cooked food, even though the meats and frozen food had already been served. When making payment, the staff made an error and overcharged, yet she made sarcastic remarks when we pointed it out. It's disappointing considering I had been a loyal customer all these years.

This place has both raw food you can cook in your pot and ready-to-eat food to munch on while you wait for the raw food to cook. I was pleasantly surprised to find they also had fruits and ice cream. Service and food were good, but I'd probably only come back rarely due to its steep dinner pricing, even for the cheapest set.

The service isn't like Haidilao's, but it's definitely one of the best hotpot restaurants out there. I went during lunchtime and got the premium set, which cost $30 per person. There were many options, and it was definitely worth it. I really recommend it if you are craving hotpot.
