Bad customer service experience. Rude and unprofessional staff. Date of event: 1st Dec 2023 at 8pm. Location: Kiddy palace at Westgate Jurong 2 female staff were joking and laughing loudly with each other in the middle of the staff. When I interrupted them to grab an item off the top shelf which needed a ladder, one of the staff gave me an impatient look. Fortunately the other was kind enough to help me grab the item from the top shelf. When I proceeded to make payment at the counter there were 3 staff, 1 male and the 2 female staff mentioned previously. I asked the male staff if they provided gift wrapping services. This same female staff that was impatient previously quickly jumped into the conversation to say a quick "no" in a condescending way without further explanation. Fortunately the male staff corrected and advised if I bought the wrappings, they could help to wrap the purchase. The attitude and misinformation given from this female individual is not appreciated. Highly suspect she could be the manager of the stall. Looking at other reviews of Kiddy Palace, seems like many others experience bad customer service. I hope the management of Kiddy Palace could take this seriously to review their staff, hiring policies/criteria, educate their staff/managers on proper customer handling for the good of the customers and company as a whole.
