Flipper’s at Westgate specializes in fluffy Japanese soufflé pancakes, and they prepare them exceptionally well. The pancakes are soft, airy, and have a delicate sweetness that pairs beautifully with the various toppings available.
Beyond pancakes, the menu includes savory options and beverages, making it a nice spot for both a light meal and a dessert indulgence. The location in Westgate is convenient, and the café has a bright, welcoming atmosphere.
If you’re a fan of soufflé pancakes, this is a solid choice. However, expect a bit of a wait during peak hours, as these pancakes are made fresh to order.

Flipper’s at Westgate has been my go-to spot for fluffy soufflé pancakes, which are consistently light, airy, and jiggly.
The service has been pleasant each time, though depending on the crowd, there can be a bit of a wait. It’s understandable since each pancake is freshly made to order, but if you’re in a rush, this might not be the best place. Still, the staff is always polite.
Having been here three times, I can say the quality has remained consistent.

Review for Flippers at Westgate
Visited Flippers at Westgate and tried their signature soufflé pancakes—super soft, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. The portion size was quite generous, so definitely come with an appetite (or someone to share with). It is on the pricier side, but you’re paying for that melt-in-your-mouth texture and presentation.
The ice cream that came with it wasn’t all that impressive—could’ve been creamier or had more flavor. Coffee was decent, not outstanding, but it paired well with the pancakes.
Overall, a nice treat if you’re in the mood for something indulgent—just maybe skip the ice cream upgrade.

Visited the café on a Sunday afternoon. It was crowded, but we were seated after a 10-minute wait. The food arrived just 5 minutes after ordering (even the pancakes). The soufflé was light and fluffy, while the baked rice was average—the overcooked beef patty had burnt edges. The soufflé pancakes alone are worth a return visit.

Came to bring my AirPod Pro for servicing and decided to try this cafe. Service is good, and the serving time for the Soufflé Pancake is between 20-30 minutes. It's worth the wait. The pancake is soft and fluffy; eat it while it's hot.
Noticed they are also selling 'treasure water' (“财宝”). 😂... Interesting.
The place can get crowded during dining times.
