Westgate Wonderland stands as Singapore's largest rooftop mall playground, transforming Level 4 of Westgate into a whimsical 11,000 square foot fantasy garden that transports children aged 2 to 12 into a larger-than-life fairy tale adventure. Designed by renowned US theme park designer Adirondack Studios in collaboration with Singapore-based playground specialist CT-Art, this award-winning attraction features gigantic insects, oversized flora and fauna replicas, and a spectacular 10-meter high treehouse centerpiece that invites young explorers to discover countless nooks and crannies.
The playground offers thoughtfully designed zones catering to different age groups, including a dedicated toddler area for ages 2-5 featuring climbing structures with giant insect and animal themes, alongside an adventure zone for ages 5-12 centered around the magnificent treehouse that encourages imaginative play and physical exploration. The garden-themed wonderland creates an immersive environment where everything appears magically oversized, fostering creativity and wonder in young visitors.
Since opening to the public on February 26, 2014, and reopening post-pandemic on September 12, 2022, Westgate Wonderland has remained completely free of charge, operating daily from 10am to 10pm with convenient access via Jurong East MRT station. While temporarily closing the last Monday of each month for maintenance, this beloved family destination continues to provide an exceptional outdoor play experience that combines safety, imagination, and adventure in the heart of Singapore's west region.

Pretty disappointing that they would build A playground that closes if it rains sometime during the day (not actively raining, just wet).

This is the largest and the best free playground at a mall in Singapore. There are two spaces available: one for little ones and another one for bigger kids. My daughter loved the pumpkin/orange swing.

The Wonderland is amazingly huge and generous for a free playground. There are many areas for kids to challenge themselves and burn their endless energy. There are slides of many sizes for kids of all ages. There are even areas catering to the toddlers like the crawling area and water play. It is conveniently located in Westgate Mall too. As there is no shelter, it can get too heaty quickly. For something that is free to use, there is really nothing to complain about. My kids certainly have lots of crazy fun here! 👍😀
