I rarely leave reviews, but Wayne at Vintage Salon truly deserves one. His service was impeccable, so much so that I left feeling happy to spend money for the extensive 6-step scalp detox treatment. He took the time to thoroughly explain the science behind my hair loss, debunking myths and offering a grounded, honest perspective. There was no hard-selling at all, just genuine advice rooted in integrity. When I asked if I could expect results in a month, he replied plainly: “No.” And I respected that honesty deeply.
We chatted for over 3 hours, during which he patiently addressed my concerns, especially with my wedding coming up in 6 months. He only mentioned a treatment package much later, and only because it made practical sense, not out of sales pressure. I could tell he was coming from a place of sincerity and care.
By the end of the session, I felt like I had gained not just knowledge, but a friend I could trust. Wayne is the kind of hairstylist who makes you feel seen, heard, and respected, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Chanced upon Vintage Studio's Cut-Wash-Blow promotion today, and had a good experience with hairstylist, Wayne. It is clear that they take time and care for each customer's hairstyling needs (even with the promo price), which came as a pleasant surprise. Wayne also shared frankly about my hair condition without attempting to hard-sell any product/service, which made for a relaxing visit that I appreciated very much. I would leave this positive review, even without the complimentary voucher.

Typically, leaving a hair salon means you leave with perfectly styled hair. However, my experience at this particular outlet was different (see last picture).
I received a haircut from Christina who did well with the framing pieces, but the overall cut deviated significantly from my desired style. Some of her techniques were questionable, including using a weighted neck wrap as a cutting guide😅, styling and straightening hair before further cutting, and vertically snipping protruding strands.
More concerning for those with long hair was the excessive cutting beyond our agreed length; my hair was progressively shortened, ending up more than 6 inches were cut off from my hair. Although I was okay with this due to my damaged hair, it's a caution for those particular about hair length.
Note that this salon seems to employ stylists without formal hairstyling education. If you're comfortable with potentially basic & subpar haircuts(slightly above mama shop level of expertise) this could be an option. I suggest opting for a simpler hairstyle if you do intend to visit them.
Safe to say i wont be resigning packages with them anymore although the staffs were friendly and nice.
My Credibility: I hold a package with this salon chain and have visited two of their locations for haircuts. I also have friends and family members that i’ve brought to finish up my haircut sessions. I observe similar quality of haircuts among the outlets across different hairstylists.
FYI: i did not bring up my dissatisfaction with the haircut upfront in fear of the stylist overcorrecting and messing up my hair even more. So this review might be slightly biased since they don’t have a chance to rectify and correct the haircut.

Eugene and Andy did an amazing job with my hair colors, i absolutely love the outcome! Eugene took the time to understand what i wanted and delivered beyond my expectations, The color is perfect and I've received so many compliments. Highly recommend Eugene's Consultation and Andy's service.

Second or third time here and as usual, staff were very friendly. I had a few reference pictures for the colour I wanted and Rachel was able to recommend a suitable colour pretty quickly. Overall good experience thanks to Eugene and Rachel. Love how the colour turned out :)
