I chanced upon this shop, 'The Underground'. A lovely lady (pictured at the counter) served me yesterday and brought tons of clothes for me to try. I absolutely loved the designs; it was very hard to choose from, as every design is unique and I'm on a budget. Their style is very avant-garde. I'm plus-size and never thought I could look amazing in anything.
I found their apparel to be of very good quality, affordable, and boy, do they have some awesome designs! It's like getting high-end fashion at a very reasonable price! I heard from the staff that the designers are local! In conclusion, there is hope for SG fashion and for plus-size individuals like me!
I saw some negative reviews for their other outlets, probably due to staff having a bad day, but don't let that deter you from owning a piece of The Underground's apparel – it's worth every cent!

Bought a black blouse from AMK outlet on 16/7/2024 for $38. I checked everything was in order before putting it into a laundry net and washing. After washing, I noted the v-neckline of the top had frayed. I brought it back to the store for assistance, and all the staff could say was that the item had been washed, so nothing could be done. Their response was, "You should have checked before washing." I explained that the item was alright before washing; however, I only observed the fraying after washing. They suggested going to a seamstress to machine over the frayed part. She said she could only inform management about the quality of the cloth. This will be my last purchase from a store with such poor quality clothing and sales service.

A staff lady with golden hair, around mid-50s, kept staring up and down a few times at my wife, who was wearing a hijab. She didn't even offer a simple greeting when we entered. My wife still proceeded to purchase some of the items. I hope that golden-haired staff 'aunty' will get what she deserves for her prejudiced attitude. Thanks to the other staff 'aunty' with black hair, who was kind enough to attend to my wife.
