My daughter has been with the school since she was 5 years old; she is 8 now. We are considering opting out because the teachers aren't nurturing. Before you sign up, I would advise that you check out the teaching style and personalities of these teachers. Some use fear, while others are disengaged. For example, a teacher told my daughter that she had better dance well, or else her reputation would go down the drain. My question is: Is this a question of KPI, or is it about nurturing girls, especially young girls, for dance (or ballet, in this case)?

Is there a zero-star option? DON'T EVER consider this school for your kids. The class size is big, and the teachers only pay attention to those who are relatively better, ignoring those who are weaker and need more help.
The school fee is on the high side, but the service provided is lacking. And when you want to withdraw from the school, they forfeited your deposits without valid reason.

We have been with TBS for 5 years already. We are really thankful for the teachers who diligently and passionately want the children to enjoy, and continuously improve. The quality of the annual production (which is always a highlight for the girls) is top-notch, with great effort put in. Special mention goes to Ms Doris who is kind, gentle but firm. She is clear with her instructions and corrections. With her, my girl feels safe and desires to do better each time. ❤️
