PlayMade Westgate

I always get my Taiwan Milk Tea with burnt caramel pearls from Playmade, not sure what the reason is, but these recent years, the burnt caramel pearls are always not available. It's like out of 20 times I visit them, there will only be 1 time that they have the pearls. Same thing for their AMK hub outlet, I've asked the staff member about the availability but they are not sure themselves either. Playmade could perhaps improve on this , as I'm a fan of this drink and pearls combo. Not just the burnt caramel pearls, I've consistently seen several different flavored pearls that are listed as unavailable for extended period of time. This will chase away potential customer(s) who buy their drinks because of the flavored pearls. Apart from the drinks, I have had some bad experiences with the customer service from this outlet. My experiences are generally alright, with some getting served by staff members with a bad attitude taking the order and handing me the drink. There were a couple occasions, where the staff member, whom I did not manage to catch the name, Chinese male of average height, was rude and had an unhappy look on his face. There were separate occasions, but they were usually with the Chinese male staff members. There was once that I remember clearly, it was on a weekday afternoon, off peak hour, I recall there were two male staff members on duty during my visit. After I placed my order at the kiosk, I went over to the collection point area to wait for my order. They saw me, but chose to take their own sweet time to prepare my order, and apart from myself, there were barely any other customers. When my ticket number was finally called, and I went over, only to be greeted by the male staff member who looked like he didn't want to be there, and it was as if he was doing the job for free.

Bought dong ding oolong tea with pink cactus pearl, the tea tastes good but most of the pearls are uncooked. There are a few that's soft and chewy but the rest are hard and powdery when I bite into them. Waited about 10 minutes for my order even though there were two people in front of me who ordered one drink each.

Overall a positive experience.. one of the better Boba in the market. However the good boba flavour always sold out, which is quite turned off (minus stars). Located at level 1 of Westgate Mall.

Bought 2 cups of osmanthus oolong milk tea with chrysanthemum pearl, tried 1 and was so diluted despite 100% sugar and no ice! Super disappointing. Have playmade already lost standard and like other bubble tea brands starting to add water to their milk tea? Will not buy again.
