Heard a lot about Garmin from friends. Finally decided to visit the store in hopes to purchase one for myself. Staff was very informative which was a big help in making a decision. Overall, service was great and very happy with my purchase.

I have been a loyal Garmin user since the Fenix series began, but my recent experience at the Westgate store has left me feeling quite disheartened. I visited the store to find a new band for my Fenix 8 watch, and the service I received was far from satisfactory. Upon asking for a cloth band, the staff member insisted they didn’t have any, only to be contradicted when I found a nylon band myself. When I inquired about the colors available, I was told there were only black and gray options. I requested to see the actual colors to make an informed decision, but I was told that according to their policy, I could only view one color, despite the bands not being in sealed packaging and could be replaced. To my surprise, when I lifted the black and gray bands, I noticed a red one underneath. I asked if I could see the red band as well, but I was again met with a refusal, citing the same policy. This inflexibility and lack of customer service was baffling, as viewing different color options before making a purchase is a standard practice and should not be a problem. Throughout the interaction, the staff member appeared unhappy and unhelpful, as if I were the one causing inconvenience rather than a potential customer. This experience was a stark contrast to the quality and service I’ve come to expect from Garmin. As a long-time user, I find this level of service unacceptable. If such issues persist, it will only serve to alienate loyal customers. I hope Garmin takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the customer experience at their Westgate store.

Some of the staff in a couple of Garmin shops are really unhelpful and ignored customers who were looking to buy their products. Are they not interested or don't know their product well to attend to queries? This is a real letdown when you are walking into a Garmin main shop and thinking of making a purchase. I got better service from other retailers when I bought my many other Garmin watches.
