My mum and I are regulars at Experte Beaute, and our go-to has always been Kelly. As I have ingrown toenail issues, Kelly has always been the best at making sure my toes are well taken care of. Kelly is very patient, meticulous, and careful with her services, and that is what truly made me return to her every single time (it's been years!). One time, she took 2 hours to remove a single ingrown nail, and it was way past the shop's closing hour, but she made sure I went home with my nails done. Kelly is superb 👍🏻

It's been 24 hours since my manicure and the gel is literally just peeling off my nails. I don't do housework, so it's not like the manicure came in contact with any harsh chemicals; it just peeled off while I was trying to handle some sticky tape. The manicure is 85++ (65++ if it's a package). I'm appalled it lasted so little time and was ruined so easily.

Worst manager in the shop ever. She kept telling me different packages, originally saying 3 for $188, then changing it to 5 times for $490. She didn't even mention the previous package she proposed. After I didn't take it up, she immediately gave me a 'black face'. I loved to visit the shop before this hard-selling manager appeared; now I won't even consider dropping by. Sometimes, we just want to visit a shop without a package. Don't be so hard-selling as to lose your existing customers. This has become a 'black shop' after the renovation.

My mum has been a long-time client of this nail salon only because they used to have a great manicurist known as Ruby. However, since her abrupt departure for reasons kept from customers, she has been serviced by younger members of the salon, and her customer service experience has gone from heaven to hell (this includes gossiping about the customer in her presence in their native language). Despite our attempts to escalate our feedback to the manager, we have not received any response. If anyone is contemplating trying out this nail salon, think twice. If anyone is contemplating a package with this nail salon, think many times more. Hopefully, with this review, we can finally hear back from someone who can address the multiple flaws at this nail salon.

I purchased a promotional package for eyebrow embroidery + 1 touch-up. On the treatment day, the beautician started with cleaning and drawing, then she proposed two other types of embroidery, which required an additional top-up of $688 or $888.
I refused and decided to stick with the basic embroidery. Then she said I would need to pay an additional $38 for a brand new needle blade for the touch-up. So I asked her if not paying meant she would use the same blade or another used blade for my touch-up. She just smiled it off. I was not informed of this when signing up for the package.
After the treatment, she recommended a cream to apply for the first few days. She then took out a small sachet (which looked like a sample packet) from the cashier's drawer and told me to purchase two sachets, costing $38 each. When I refused, she said I could just buy one sachet instead, claiming all customers were very satisfied with this particular cream.
I just left without purchasing anything. I felt very cheated and unhappy with their selling tactics, as they seemed to be hiding all the costs.
I will not return to this salon again after my treatment is finished. A warning to all future customers: please ask clearly before signing any package with them, or avoid them entirely if possible.
