Responsibilities:

· Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of stamping operations, aiming to optimize machine utilization and improve yield

· Collaborate with management on ways to optimize machine output, product quality and plant utilization matters and relay improvements by conducting training using MOS and PBM for supervisors and employees

· Facilitating communications between management and production team and oversee scheduling, production control, inventory control, forecasting and output in the Plating Department

· Participated in internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance, minimize yield loss, and maintain adherence to product specifications.

· Improved Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and identified cost-saving opportunities by providing production support and resolving quality/process issues across in-house operations and external vendors.

· Ensure proper documentation control of process capability studies, FMEAs, SOPs, and production records, adhering to TS16949 requirements

· Train employees on documentation and lead strategic initiatives to significantly reduce direct labour, variable overhead, and fixed overhead costs within the group, enhancing overall operational efficiency and profitability

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering/Mechanical.

· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in process engineering, specifically in plating

· Demonstrate strong communication to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and external partners.
