Head of Business Excellence

Purpose of the Role

The Head of Business Excellence will play a key role in meeting the organization's cross-functional, process-driven, and time-bound needs. ARLANXEO aims to eliminate, simplify, standardize, and automate its processes to achieve its new vision and strategy, and the incumbent will lead and manager process optimization and simplification project needs, spanning across mulit-functional disciplines, based on the excellence pillar, and extends across five sales regions and three business clusters.

The Head of Business Excellence will spearhead the agenda, structure, and projects, establish best practices, select optimal tools, and ensure flawless execution. This pivotal role also entails adept program management to empower clusters in their strategy and secure financial success through meticulous milestone planning with business directors.

This position will be responsible for ensuring the success of the IBP process through a harmonized working approach across the organization. These processes are fundamental to ARLANXEO, ensuring that we meet our commitments to customers while achieving our internal KPIs. The role includes leading excellence in Net Working Capital management and manage the Planning tool from its implementation to its operational phase.

Additionally, this position will lead a team dedicated to IBP excellence and also driving continuous improvement programs within the CPSO function.

Job Description

Program Management: Spearhead the implementation of the IBP process within the company to define and steer the strategic direction for product clusters, focusing on financial targets and more. Serve as a key partner in the comprehensive vision of the cluster and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve results with rigorously planned and mutually agreed milestones.

Program Management: Assume a pivotal leadership role in executing the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process within the company. Drive the strategic direction for product clusters to achieve targeted financial outcomes. Act as an advisor in developing the comprehensive vision for clusters and collaborate cross-functionally to accomplish results through mutually agreed milestone planning.

Process optimization and excellence: This role is dedicated to strategically reducing business complexity by eliminating, simplifying, standardizing, and automating processes in IBP. It entails identifying critical processes and their interdependencies, and developing advanced tools and systems to optimize performance. Key responsibilities include setting and measuring process efficiency with KPIs, rigorously reporting progress, and driving continual improvement initiatives to ensure sustained operational excellence.

Strategically Ensuring the Success of the IBP Process for Arlanxeo: Leading the alignment of the IBP process across the business, and driving continuous improvement within the CPSO function. Strategically developing and implementing Business Excellence tools, crafting detailed content for these tools, and ensuring their efficient and effective utilization. Summarize and prepare the monthly IBP cycle, ensuring that key topics are discussed and decisions are made in line with the company's strategic direction.

ESSA: Apply ESSA principles to the IBP process, collaborate with other departments, lead by example, and introduce new ideas. Execute business cases for key technology tools, which disrupts our planning process, consolidates many tasks, and simplifies our day to day work.

Ensuring Resources for CPSO: Allocate resources to support ongoing excellence and improvement initiatives for CPSO, including business clusters.

Transformation 2.0: Manage and drive Transformation 2.0 Project for CPSO organization as cluster lead, responsible to drive the ideation and implementation of initiatives, and also deliver on the targets agreed.

Knowledge Management: Stay informed about relevant advancements in your area of expertise and identify knowledge gaps within your discipline to promote the development and sharing of knowledge among professionals in the department. Foster a robust IBP community within Arlanxeo.

Stakeholder Management: Establish, cultivate, and sustain partnerships with various Senior internal and/or external stakeholders in accordance with business requirements, policies, and external developments, to maintain a sustainable and accessible network that supports both departmental and ARLANXEO’s goals.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Business and/or Economics, with at least 15 years of working experience with Marketing and Sales and Business Execellence.
• Excellent knowledge of in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerBI.
• Well developed interpersonal, analytical, communications and problem solving skills.
• Good listener, able to take varied inputs to prepare best in class tools
• Expertise in digital tools like Power BI, Qlick, Sap Analytical Could (SAC)
• Experienced with Kinaxis tool for Planning (Maestro)
• Experienced with defining and implementing Integrated Business Planning Process
• Experienced with Transformation projects preferably with McKinsey consulting
• Experienced with Wave tool from McKinsey
• Experienced in change management is of advantage
• Diplomatic but able to stand with conflicts
